The focus of TIPS Training is on responsible consumption, whether at a bar, restaurant, ballpark concession, hotel, or university. Participants leave TIPS Training prepared to:

- Recognize signs of intoxication
- Spot underage drinkers and prevent sales to minors
- Intervene quickly and assuredly in potential problem situations
- Understand the difference between people enjoying themselves and those getting into trouble with alcohol
- Handle alcohol-related situations with greater confidence

Rowan College of South Jersey will be offering a ParaPro Examination at its Millville Satellite Location. The cost for the exam is $60 and examinees must be registered by Tuesday, December 19. No registrations will be entered on the day of the exam at the Arts and Innovation Center AIC. Test takers must pre-register and may prepay for their exam by using this weblink. The Certified Nursing Assistant Program teaches students to provide daily basic care for patients. A CNA provides physical and emotional support for patients in nursing homes, hospitals, and other various settings. A CNA must be able to provide personal assistance to individuals who are unable to care for themselves and help them regain and maintain daily functions. Classroom learning is taught in a simulated long-term care classroom setting and clinical is instructed at a locally designated long-term care facility outside of the school. This course gives students the full academic hands-on skills required to pass the state licensing exams. More
